June Book Release Update Take 2

Published June 9, 2014 by jnaomiay

Last week, I posted my June Book Release Update Rant.  If you’re interested in it, you can find it below or on my website and blog.  Now, I’m calmer and balanced and so I will enlighten you into the progress of all my works without flying off the emotional handle.  Must be hormonal.

Book 15 – Yes, there will be a book 15, and as mentioned earlier, a goodly portion of it will delve in to Arsan’s history.  I didn’t tell you much about him before, so now I’m taking a step back and exploring him a little further.  So far, he’s gone from kind of a “neb” (Yiddish word, no literal translation) to a likeable, if still nebbish guy.  That’s not all going on in there, of course.  It’s time to take another look at Ber, now that he must go forth without Kie, and I’ve given him a love interest who …wait for it…has two heads.  I’m about 50% done with this one, hoping for an early August release.

Unnamed New Project – Yes.  That says it all, doesn’t it?  It, whatever it is, is about 25% done.  I’ll have a clearer idea when I get a little further.  Also hoping for an August release.

Time Tripping Adventures #2 – After an amazing, blow out, successful promo this last weekend on Black Gold, Time Tripping Adventures #1, I guess I’ll have to pencil in a sequel to Bitsy and Mona’s adventures.  The project manager software is scheduling that for September/October release time frame.  I’m still planning to send the girls and their Prius back to find the lost boys in the Tower circa 1484, but that may change.

Other projects on the dashboard right now are limited to doing a lot of weeding, growing a lot of tomatoes, harvesting a lot of gooseberries and currants, jamming same, and releasing My Enemy’s Son in Audiobook.  The very talented R.A. Reynolds is doing a bang up job voicing this one after giving an amazing performance on The Boy who Lit up the Sky.  You can find that audio as well as all of my other audio collection on Audible, Amazon, iTunes and wherever else audiobooks are sold.  Audible is constantly running promos too, so you can usually find a way to get one or more for free.  I highly recommend, if you haven’t listened to it already, go download The Boy and enjoy RA’s incredible rendition.

So, that’s the very calm and unemotional update from my writing desk.  If you have any questions or concerns, I’m happy to speak with you about them.  You can find me between the hours of 8 – 5 out in the boat checking the crab pots, so if you can’t swim that far, just leave me a message.  Happy Summer.
