Two cool space events this week for all of us Spaceforce cadets!

Published June 3, 2012 by jnaomiay

A partial lunar eclipse over a full moon will occur on Monday June 4.  It’ll be completely visible to Australia, partially visible to Eastern Asia and partially visible to the west coast of the US and Canada right about at moonset which for us here in Seattle means around 3 AM on the 5th.

In addition to this, Venus will transit across the sun on the next day and lucky us, it’ll visible to the west coast of North America.  Last time to catch this event because none of us will be around for the next transit in 2117.

Seattle weather is showing rain and rain for Monday and Tuesday.Image
