Book 3 of Blood and Angels talks a lot about angels.  Do they really exist?  Angels are mentioned both in the New and Old Testaments as spiritual beings and messengers that watch over us and protect us.  In the Old Testament there are 4 Archangels beginning with Michael (Mika’el), Raphael, Gabriel, and Uriel.  Each of them has different characteristics but throughout all Judeo-Christian history, Michael is the leader of the angels, the one who fought Satan, the symbol of humility before G-d and the “great prince” who stood up for the people of Israel.

How does this relate to “Of Blood and Angels”?  You’ll have to read it to find out.
